Seasonal Letter, April: “If I Were a Tree”
Letter April “If I were a single tree.”
When you travel through the nature-rich Akiu, you will be able to feel the scents of the four seasons carried by the wind.
A season where young leaves shine, coloring the trees of spring.
Imagining that sparkle, we created this incense.
Even if you are far away, we hope the fragrance helps you remember Jigenji Temple.
― This Month's Word from the Great Ajari ―
If you pause for a moment and think about what the rain and wind are trying to teach you, if you were a tree, you would just grow straight toward the sky, with the wind strengthening you, the rain nourishing you, and receiving the sunlight, a single-mindedness to grow straight toward the sky.
As it grows larger, it made me reflect on trees that firmly take root.
