Seasonal Letter, July: “Keep on Walking”

Jigenji Temple – Seasonal Letters “Keep on Walking”

Do you know the name for the rain that falls toward the end of the rainy season?

It's called "okuri tsuyu". Just when you think the rainy season is over, it rains again.

That's called "modori tsuyu." Seasons move forward while also going back and forth, don't they?

― This Month's Word from the Great Ajari ―

Just like that, even in trials, let's keep walking without letting our hearts cloud over.

When I kept walking thinking that way, it led me to a heart this calm.
