うぐいすは高らかに鳴き、春の訪れを告げます。
ほととぎすは声をひそめるように鳴き、夏の訪れを知らせてくれます。
その初音は「忍び音（しのびね）」と呼ばれ、歌人、そして仙台藩祖・伊達政宗公に愛されました。
風薫る季節、秋保の里でほととぎすの忍び音に耳を澄ませてみませんか？
― 今月の大阿闍梨のひと言 ―
山の中に入れば、お天道様がさんさんと輝いていて、虫たち、鳥たち、きれいな草花、木といったものが渾然一体となって生きています。
そうした大自然の中から自分自身を省みて、感謝しながら、少しずつこの世の真理をうなずきとっていく。
それが私に与えられた役目です。

Hototogisu cries in a low voice, heralding the arrival of summer.
The Hatsune was called "Shinobine" and was loved by poets and Date Masamune, the founder of the Sendai clan.
In the windy season, why not listen carefully to the whispering sounds of hototogisu in the village of Akiu?

If you go into the mountains, the sun shines brightly, and insects, birds, beautiful flowers and trees live in harmony.
Reflecting on oneself in such great nature, while being grateful, little by little, nods to the truth of this world.
That is the role given to me.
