お正月を迎える準備として掃除は欠かせませんね。
年末の大掃除は長い間受け継がれてきた日本の風習です。
年末に慌てて掃除をするより、日頃から気がついたところの煤を払い、こまめに掃除をしましょう。
掃除で心も磨いて、清々しい新年を迎えられますように。

人生はある例えで表現すると、「お風呂に入ってくるようなもの」だと思います。
お風呂で身体を洗い流し、きれいになるように、日々の生活の中で、自分の悪いところを削ぎ落とし、洗い清めていく。
人生とは、そういった時間なのではないかと思います。
きれいな魂となって、あの世とやらに還ればいいんじゃないかなあ。

In order to become clean, we remove the bad parts of ourselves and cleanse ourselves in our daily lives.
I think life is about that kind of time. I guess it would be nice if I could return to the afterlife as a clean soul.
