Letter January "Smiling"
15日は「小正月」。
昔の人は初春の満月の日を一年の始まりとしてお祝いしていたそうです。
１月１日のお正月と１月15日の小正月。
長い歳月が流れても、新たな一年を幸せに生きるための古くからの行事は今に受け継がれています。

花を見て怒るひとがいないように、笑顔を見て怒るひとはおらず、笑う門には福来たるというように、笑顔はひととひととをつなぐ潤滑油です。
わたしが大自然のなかで修行していて、山のなかでふと一輪の花を見たときに、思わずこころがなごんで笑顔がこぼれたものでした。

Just as no one gets angry when they see a flower, no one gets angry when they see a smile, and a smile is a lubricant that connects people.
When I was training in the great outdoors and suddenly saw a single flower in the mountains, I couldn't help but feel at ease and smile.
