暦の上では春ですが、慈眼寺がある秋保はもう少し雪の季節がつづきます。
野も山も真っ白に染め上げる雪。
「友待つ雪」といえば、次の雪が降るまで消えずに待っているかのように見える雪のことを言います。新たな雪がひとひらひとひら空から舞い落ちる瞬間は、雪たちにとって待ち侘びた友と出会う喜びの時かもしれません。
