Letter February A single needle in the heart
春風が東の方角から吹き始めるといわれる季節。
今年も春が生まれたと思うだけで、日差しにかすかな春の気配を感じる気がします。
すべては、私たちの心一つかもしれませんね。
It is said to be the season when the spring breeze begins to blow from the east.
Just thinking that spring has arrived again this year makes me feel a faint sense of spring in the sunlight.
Perhaps everything depends on the mindset of our hearts.
～ 今月の大阿闍梨のひと言 ―
私たちの心には一本の針があり、思い通りにならないと思った瞬間に、闇のほうにその針がとらわれてしまいます。
マイナスの方にとらわれてしまうと、どうしても気持ちが暗くなってしまいますので、
もしもマイナスに針が触れてしまった場合は、
その瞬間に自分の強い意志でプラスに戻すことです。

In our hearts, there is a single needle, and the moment we feel that things are not going our way, that needle gets caught in the darkness.
When it gets caught on the negative side, our feelings inevitably become dark, so if the needle touches the negative, you must immediately use your strong will to bring it back to the positive.
