Jigen-ji Temple: Seasonal News—“No Rain Lasts Forever”
夕立の多い季節ですね。
夏の夕立は雨ですべてが白く煙る様子から、「白雨（はくう）」と呼ばれることもあります。
雨が上がると、時折、空に輝く虹の贈り物が。
涼やかな幸せを感じる瞬間ですね。
It’s the season for frequent summer thunderstorms, isn’t it?
Summer thunderstorms are sometimes called “hakuu” (white rain) because the rain makes everything appear white and hazy.
When the rain clears, we’re occasionally treated to the gift of a rainbow shining in the sky.
It’s a moment that brings a refreshing sense of happiness.

迷いの世界に心が執らわれているうちは、また心が曇ることがありますが、嵐がいつまでもその場にとどまらないように、また、やまない雨はないように、やがていつしか晴れ晴れとした心地よい穏やかな世界へと、流れる時間とともに人は生まれ変わります。
As long as our hearts remain entangled in a world of confusion, they may become clouded once again; but just as a storm does not linger forever, and just as no rain lasts forever, with the passage of time, we are eventually reborn into a bright, pleasant, and peaceful world.
