「かなかなかな」というひぐらしの声はどこか郷愁を誘いますね。
「寒蝉（かんぜみ）」といえば、立秋に鳴く蝉のこと。
ひぐらしや、つくつくぼうしのことを指します。
終わりゆく夏を惜しむかのような鳴き声のその先で、秋が待っています。
The sound of the “kana-kana-kana” of the evening cicada evokes a sense of nostalgia, doesn’t it?
The term “kanzemi” refers to the cicadas that chirp around the start of autumn.
It specifically refers to the evening cicada and the tsukutsukubōshi.
Beyond their chirping—which seems to lament the passing of summer—autumn awaits.

It is something that eventually becomes visible only to those who strive to live in accordance with the true principles.
That is the purpose of spiritual practice.
Life itself is a form of spiritual practice.
