Jigen-ji Temple: Seasonal Newsletter　“A Mindset for Nurturing”

お寺の畑では、季節の野菜やハーブを育てています。

みんなで力を合わせて「そろそろ水をやろう」、「肥料を与えたほうがいいかも」と、毎年畑と向き合っています。

畑仕事には、たくさんの学びが隠されていますね。

In the temple’s garden, we grow seasonal vegetables and herbs. Every year, we all work together, saying things like, “It’s about time to water them,” or “Maybe we should add some fertilizer,” as we tend to the garden. There are so many lessons to be learned from gardening.

過保護でもダメ。

放置しすぎてもダメ。

よく観察して適切なタイミングで関わる。
